2026 MMA Annual Retreat

July 14-16, 2026 at the Catholic Newman Center 307 S Holden St, Warrensburg MO, 64093 

There will be opportunity to receive up to 8 CEU’s as well as learn from other midwives. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive IV therapy personally, and fellowship other Missouri Midwives. The conference will include a board meeting where members will vote for 2027 MMA President, Vice President, Secretary, and board members. Your voice matters and we value the care you give. Come, we want to see and hear from you!

Cost of Retreat: $120 for midwives, $50 for students, additional $30 for 8 CEUs

Accommodations: Beds for staying overnight are limited, if desired please reserve. The cost for staying overnight is $25 and sheets will be provided but you will have to bring your own pillow and blankets.

  • 4:00- Check in and refreshments. Register for Door Prize!

  • 5:00- Dinner

  • 6:00- IV Therapy with Speaker Connie Kugler

  • 7:00- Opportunity to receive IV

  • 7:00- Fellowship and free time. Peer review, if desired.

• Wednesday, July 15

  • 7:00- Breakfast

  • 8:00- Emotional Stress Release with Teressa Peirce

  • 9:00- Tongue Tie Revision and Assessment with Dr. Dear.

  • 11:00- Lunch

  • 12:00- Cranial Sacral Therapy with Lindsey Kroutt

  • 2:00- MMA Board Meeting, Elections, and Legislation Discussion (Zoom option available)

  • 5:00- Dinner and Fellowship

• Thursday, July 16

  • 7:00- Breakfast

  • 8:00- Cumulative Risk and boundaries with Rachel Williston

  • 10:00- Pelvic Floor Therapy overview and exercises to share with clients with Jen Dickenson

  • 12:00- Clean-up, Certificate of Attendance, & Check-out
