North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) Complaint and Grievance
Complaints against a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) can be submitted to NARM. This initiates a formal process that must include the participation of the midwife and the client. You can begin the process of filing a complaint with NARM here.
Missouri Midwives Association (MMA) Grievance
Missouri Midwives Association (MMA) offers a Grievance Process to the public and midwives practicing in Missouri. A person with first-hand knowledge of the incident may file a written complaint. The midwife is given the opportunity to bring a defense to any complaint before action is taken against her. The MMA Grievance Process may be initiated by filing a written complaint with the MMA Grievance Review Board. Please contact the Grievance Board for more information: Grievance@missourimidwives.org
