• Thursday, July 31

  • 9:30am - Red Cross Adult & Infant CPR for Healthcare Providers

    • Location: Ebenezer Fire Protection District Station 1, 1391 State Hwy WW, Springfield, MO 65803, Community Room. 

    • RSVP or update your registration to add CPR via the retreat registration linked above. Questions or concerns can be directed to deborahsmithey@gmail.com

    • $75 cash or check to pay the instructor directly.

  • 1pm - In-Person portion of Neonatal Resuscitation Certification Training with Canea West.

    • Location: Ebenezer Fire Protection District Station 1, 1391 State Hwy WW, Springfield, MO 65803, Community Room. 

    • Those taking this training must:

      • RSVP to Canea ahead of time for her records - westca1983@gmail.com

      • Complete the online portion before you come! Go to American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program to sign up and do the online portion: https://www.aap.org/en/pedialink/neonatal-resuscitation-program/ 

        • Bring your printed receipt showing you passed the online portion.  

        • $35 cash or check to pay for the in-person portion of NRP.

  • 4:00- Check in and refreshments at the BnB

  • 5:30- Dinner served by Heaven Sent Midwives

  • 6:00- Keynote: Every Birth Has A Story with Diane Barnes, CNM, CPM

  • 7:00- Pool time and birth stories

  • 7:00- Massages! Please plan to pay by tipping the massage therapist.

  • 10:30- Balance with Control for Midwives, Part 1 with Tamar Prahlow, SPM

  • 11:00- Random Questions and Answers Panel

  • 11:30- Lunch served by Special Deliveries

  • 12:00- MMA Meeting (Join via Zoom), Voting, and lunch

  • 1:30- Break and stretching

  • 1:45- Balance With Control for Midwives, Part 2

  • 2:00- Improving Maternal & Infant Outcomes through Collaboration with Dr. Nicole McCauley, DC, DACCP, IBCLC

  • 3:15 - Balance with Control for Midwives, Part 3

  • 3:45- Rh Incompatibility/Isoimmunization with Amy Garrison, CNM, CPM, and Mercedes Beachy

  • 5:15- Balance with Control for Midwives, Part 4

  • 5:45- Dinner served by Heaven Sent Midwives

  • 7:00- Skill drills with slippery models!

  • 8:00- Rescue Breath Collective: Hope for Trauma, PTSD, & Burnout in Community Based Midwifes and Others Living the On-Call Life with Cheryl Gates, CPM, BGS Red Cross Instructor

  • 9:30- Clean-up & Certificate of Attendance
